The Youth Services Case Management program utilizes a holistic approach in rendering services to its clients. The program is based upon the philosophical belief that if youth are provided with opportunities and options to engage in activities that are organized, structured, safe &positive, the outcome will lead to the development of self-productivity, educational achievement, a sense of responsibility to self, family and community. The strength of these factors will help serve as a deterrent to the negative forces our youth face in today's environment. The current enrollment of participants in the program is approximately seven hundred youth and families in three sites. The program is conducted five days a week, year round. Participants in the program (youth) continue to excel in school, avoid the criminal and justice systems, and mostly importantly they continue to be an important component of families. The program helps in crime reduction, juvenile delinquency, and family dysfunction and provides stability in the City.
