A. Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide the highest level of service possible, through the sharing of financial information with the Mayor, City Council, and the various Departments and Offices within the Administration. The Department strives to act both in a friendly and professional manner when dealing with taxpayers, residents, and vendors.
B. Department Goals and Objectives
- To assist the Mayor, City Administration
and City Council with the preparation of an annual budget that
will provide adequate funding for all of the services needed in
the City of Camden.
- To establish an Office of Management and
Budget within the Director's Office.
- To assist in reducing the structural
budget gap of the City, thereby minimizing the need for additional
state aid.
- To aid in the removal of the State of Imminent Peril and elimination of the need for the State Financial Review Board.
