- The purpose of this program is to understand fireplay behavior; to evaluate the risk of continuation; and to implement interventions to reduce or eliminate juvenile fireplay behavior.
- The above is done by interview forms for the family and the child that will provide valuable information regarding the child, his environment, fire variables and possible motives.
- Answers gathered through the interview are scored and placed in one of three levels (level 1, 2, or 3). Referrals are made thereof.
