On March 12, 2018 the Camden City School District Central Office will open the doors to its new home at the Washington School, 1033 Cambridge Street, Camden 08105. The move is an opportunity for the District to save costs and re-open an otherwise vacant District building.
Located on the 419 and 452 bus routes and just around the corner from Veterans Memorial Family School, the Washington building will be home to the Superintendent’s Office, the Department of Talent and Labor Relations, the Family Solutions Center, the Business Office, and all other administrative functions of the District. In addition, the entire Early Childhood team will move from the Early Childhood Development Center over the summer to work together under one roof at the Washington building.
Families who need to visit the Family Solutions Center can stop by the Washington building anytime from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Friday, or visit the new Satellite Solutions Center at Forest Hill Elementary School Mondays, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., beginning on March 16. Families are also welcome to call the Solutions Center at 856-966-2507 or email families@camden.k12.nj.us.
The phone number for the CCSD Central Office will remain the same – 856-966-2000 – and all staff members will keep the same extensions.
