The role of the Bureau of Payroll is to process payroll-related services to employees and retirees, including:
- Ensure that employees are compensated at the rate of pay associated with the position.
- Make voluntary payroll deductions as requested by employees.
- Administration of the State’s pension for the employees of the City of Camden.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, the Payroll Bureau will no longer accommodate walk-ins, no Exceptions. Employees/Retirees will be assisted by appointment only, which can be scheduled for Tues., Wed. and Thurs, between 10 am and 3 pm. For appointments, please call (856) 757-7151 or in person between the hours of 9 am – 12 pm and 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm in the Finance Department, located in City Hall, Room 213.
